Luxaflex® has introduced a modern take on traditional roman blinds – the Modern Roman Shades. This new style of shades come available in a variety of fabrics in different textures and styles to suit any taste, including several different opacity choices. In total there are 11 fabric ranges in 72 different colours. They are child safe as well, as there are no cords exposed on this model.
Choose from the following styles:
- Traditional – Available in a 100mm contoured vane, in both translucent and blockout opacities, traditional shades roll up to the head rail for an unobstructed view.
- Tailored – Available in a 150mm flat vane, in both translucent and blockout opacities, tailored shades have a contemporary flat fold design and also roll up for an unobstructed view.
- Tiered – Available in a 100mm contoured vane, in translucent opacity only, tiered shades stack up or down. They’re a perfect fit for narrow spaces.
- Traversed – Available in a 100mm contoured vane, only in translucent opacity only with left or right side operation, traversed shades are perfect for wide spaces and sliding glass door.
You can also choose from several different operating system options:
- Easyrise – Continuous cord loop system provides easy operation (used with Traditional and Tailored styles).
- Literise Cordless Operation – Completely cordless, offering light control and child and pet protection (used only with Tiered style).
- Powerview Motorisation – Completely cordless and battery operated, this option provides one touch operation (used with Traditional, Tailored and Tiered styles).
- Ultraglide® – Features a retractable pull cord that remains at the same length whenever the shading is raised or lowered (used with Traditional, Tailored and Tiered styles).
- Vertiglide – Cordless operation, ideal for sliding doors (used only with Traverse style).
