Decorating Decor Interiors was established in 1991 and has flourished and expanded over the years.

We started out installing window furnishings but, due to the talent of our designers, we soon expanded to every facet of interior design from fabrics, accessories and furnishings through to a full decorating service.

In 2004, we moved to larger premises in Drummoyne, opened our new showroom and expanded our team.

Our decorators are the very best in the business, with a combined 90 years experience in the industry, and have worked all around the world, from London to the Middle East.

Decorating Decor Interiors has its own specialised staff training program. In addition, our work room has won numerous awards and all our installers are experienced industry professionals.

Sue

Senior Interior Decorator

Sue, who has been an interior decorator for more than 30 years, graduated from Randwick Technical College but her parents knew she was destined for design long before that.

I used to drive them crazy, said Sue. I was constantly changing the decor and design in my bedroom! Sue has worked with many of the larger companies over the years and ran her own business, Mountain Interiors for more than 10 years.

I love helping people to achieve their dream, she says. Whether it is a practical solution to a problem area, a simple update on a look, or a complete change of style.

I also love the challenge of sourcing just the right look for a client and seeing the look on their faces when they see it for the first time.
 

Catriona

Senior Interior Decorator

Catriona, who has more than 20 years experience in the industry, earned her degree in printed textile designing.

In her time as a decorator, Catriona has worked in London, designing furnishing fabrics and illustrating room interiors for interior designers and magazines including the English version of House & Garden and World of Interiors.

She has designed and styled collections for furnishing fabrics and bed linen including Sheridan and followed through the process from concept to photography.

I am passionate about interiors, says Catriona. I also love the process of collaborating with a client, getting their input and producing a cozy and stylish look either practical or aesthetic.

Clients enjoy that collaboration process and I'm often told that while they had an idea of what they wanted, they wouldn't really have been able to achieve it without a decorator's eye. I also enjoy the process of guiding them to achieve good proportion, scale and texture.

Catriona moved from design to decorating in 2000 but, she says, as an artist, any spare time is still spent in the studio working on her latest canvas.
